In 2013, the 14th Annual Marialuisa Ferrari Lectureship for Life was presented in Houston, Texas and was awarded to: Costantino Benedetti, MD, Professor, Clinical Anesthesiology at the Ohio State University Dr. Benedetti presented “The Two Faces of Pain: A Beneficial, Warning Vital Function; A Malefic, Consuming Neurologic Disease” on September 16th (the day of Marialuisa’s passing).
